About 140 jobs are expected to be slashed from an employment program for disadvantaged people, the opposition claims.
Opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk understands the cabinet budget review committee will this week consider cutting administration jobs at Skilling Queensland.
That’s on top of 2200 jobs expected to go from Queensland Rail and 500 jobs at the Department of Justice and Attorney General.
Ms Palaszczuk says the government wants to reduce unemployment to four per cent, but at the same time is considering axing a program….”
