Apple to Offer Latest iPad in China July 20

Apple Inc. plans to release its latest iPad in China on July 20, bringing the product to a fast-growing market that has presented the occasional bump, especially with new-product debuts.

China is Apple’s second-largest market, behind the U.S., but the company has been slow to release the new iPad in China. The device already has come out in most developed countries and many other developing nations, including Venezuela and Malaysia.

The U.S. company didn’t offer a reason for the slow release, which comes amid a lawsuit between Apple and Hong Kong-based Proview International Holdings Ltd. and its subsidiaries over the ….”
