Yamuna Expressway belt projects in trouble

GREATER NOIDA: In a rerun of the uncertainty over Noida Extension that left middle-class homebuyers in the lurch, housing projects in the Yamuna Expressway belt may now be in trouble.
The Yamuna Expressway Authority warned developers on Tuesday that no flats could be booked or construction activities carried out in the area till it cleared the layout plans. According to the authority, out of 18 group housing projects in the area, only two have got their layout plans approved. Developers of the unapproved projects have been booking flats on a massive scale, taking advantage of unwitting buyers.
